@ All SignaLink USB radio cables may not work correctly (as is) because of the signal re-routing that's done at the SignaLink's configuration socket. The DRA-34 has a RJ45 wiring scheme that duplicates the SignaLink with its configuration socket wired "straight across". If the cable you have requires a Plug-&-Play module or special wiring of the SignaLink's configuration socket, that cable likely won't work as-is. As such - the cable you have will need adapted or re-terminated to work with the DRA-34 as this unit doesn't have any way to reconfigure the RJ45 socket for every SignaLink cable that exists. The DRA-39 - however - does.

An option... Find someone that terminates networking cable (CAT5 and CAT6) that has connectors and a proper RJ45 crimper. Then, map out the wiring to reconfigure your cable to work with the DRA-34, crimping a new connector on the cable. If they ever need to use the cable with the SignaLink - just wire the configuration socket "straight across" with the #24 wire jumpers. This will be cheaper than buying another cable and will then work with both products. The pinout for the RJ45 is available from the documentation page linked below.
