Brief Description:
You may have ended up here because the data port on your radio is something other than a "standard"
6 Pin Mini DIN or your radio isn't "data-ready" and no other DRA seems to fit your situation. The DRA-39
is designed to work with radios that have a 'different' data connection or all you have is Microphone
& Speaker (MIC / SPKR) jacks to connect a sound card to.
The DRA-39 works with SignaLink USB™ radio cables and their matching plug-&-play configuration modules (not supplied) - making it easy (no soldering required) to connect to non standard data-ready radios (or non data-ready radios) as compared to other DRA's. The DRA-39 has a RJ45 radio jack that duplicates connection method of the SignaLink USB™. We believe all SignaLink USB radio cables will work because of the signal routing that's possible at the units 16-pin configuration socket, and the added speaker jack. These radio cables and jumper modules are not available from Masters Communications. You'll need to source them elsewhere like from eBay or directly from Tigertronics.

If you have a radio that doesn't have a data port and requires the receive audio to be taken from
its "speaker jack" this unit should work for you. You may need to additionally purchase a short
3.5mm (1/8") mono speaker cable with male plugs on both ends.
The SPKR-4 - 3-foot 1/8" Speaker Cable can be added
optionally to connect your DRA-39 receive audio from the radios speaker jack.
Here is an example of a radio that doesn't have a dedicated data port. There are many radios that follow this example.
No radio cable or jumper module is provided. Jumper wires are provided for all 8 locations, as seen in the photo above. Configuring the signal steering manually is provided by the supplied white jumper wires. Please refer to the Jumper Socket Wiring provided by Tigertronics or consider buying their pre-made configuration modules for easier deployment.
