What does "CT" "MS" and "SC" stand for in the product model number?
CT = CTCSS - A type of tone squelch detection.
MS = MICOR Squelch (or MICOR 'type' Squelch) - A type of noise squelch detection.
SC = (Noise) Squelch and CTCSS detection on one board.
Audio Input (from receiver):
All of these products are expecting raw discriminator audio from the receiver.
All squelch products include quality coupling capacitors, eliminating the need to install any externally.
Quartz Crystal Stability:
All CTCSS decoders have a quartz crystal for optimum temperature and operating stability.
Logic Outputs:
All logic is sourced from 5V and active high and active low outputs are provided.
