What is it, and why do I need it?

It's a adapter board that allows the Masters Communications RA or RL Series radio adapters to be easily implemented where a DMK URI is currently installed.

Simply install the UA-10 adapter onto the DB9 connector of any RA Series radio adapter with the supplied screws and attach the DB25 that used to go to the URI. It makes all of the necessary connections and even allows for different wiring scenarios.

Connects to any RA or RL Series radio adapter to make the same DB25 pinout as the DMK URI.
Very easy to build and install - only four components.
Kit comes with all parts and connectors.
Header/Jumper to select DB25 pin 9 or 21 for selection of receive audio source.
Header/Jumper to allow 12V to be routed to the RA audio amplifiers (when necessary).
Available assembled and tested, as shown in the photo above, for additional fee.
